Servings 1 pitcher

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh cut mint
  • 3 1/2 quart fresh water bottled, filtered, or tap
  • 1 lemon or lime optional

Instructions

  1. If you plan on making just a glass or two of mint water you’ll only need a few sprigs per glass.

But, if you are wanting to make a pitcher I like to use a handful of fresh cut mint, rinsed and placed into an infusion pitcher full of cold water.

  2. Place pitcher in the refrigerator and allow the mint to infuse for at least 1 hour. For a more intense flavor infuse for an additional hour. Remove mint from water and discard.

TIP: Be careful not to infuse the mint too long as the water may start to turn green. There is nothing wrong with it changing color but who wants to drink green water?

  3. Serve mint water over a glass full of ice, add an Eco Friendly Straw and garnish with lemon or lime slices. Enjoy!
