Salad Kabobs

Salad kabobs are built the same as any other kabob only lettuce is used in place of meat. Since salad kabobs are served cold rather than hot there is no need to fire up the grill.

Ingredients

  • 1 head Iceburg Lettuce
  • 1-2 carrots
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tub cherry tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper (you can use red, yellow or orange)
  • Any vegetable preferred
  • Any fruit preferred

Instructions

  1. Clean all vegetables and fruits prior to cutting or slicing.

  2. Cut lettuce into 2x2 inch wedges. 

  3. Cut all vegetables and/or fruits into bite sizes.

  4. Start building your skewer by gently pressing a wedge of lettuce onto the sharp end of the skewer and pushing it down just past the middle.  Then start alternating vegetables, lettuce and or fruits. That’s it!

  5. Serve with your favorite salad dressing.

  6. Enjoy!
