Ham and egg tarts

Quick and Easy Individual Baked Ham and Egg Tarts

If you are looking to try something different than this easy recipe for these individual baked ham and egg tarts is one of my favorite go-to. This recipe will make 2-3 tarts. If you wish to make more buy more ham and use more eggs. Rule when using mini-pie pans: 5 pieces of ham and 1 egg per pan.

Ingredients

  • 2 2 ounce packages Buddig Ham
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 2-3 green onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh grated cheese colby or cheddar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Line the mini pie pans with layers of ham. Place one on the bottom and then continue to add about 4 pieces to cover pan edges.
  3. Add one egg to each mini pie pan. Sprinkle with chopped green onions, salt, pepper, and hand grated cheese.

  4. Place mini pie pans on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 - 35 minutes or until desired egg consistency.
  5. Remove mini pie pans from oven. The crusted ham should easily remove from the pans. If the egg escaped out around the edges of the ham crust gently use a spoon to loosen. Remove from pan to a serving dish.
  6. Enjoy!
