Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of iceberg lettuce chopped
  • 1 large green pepper diced
  • 1 medium red onion diced
  • 12-15 cherry tomatoes cut in half
  • 1 12 ounce frozen peas thawed (do not cook)
  • 4 cups grated cheese
  • 4 sliced hard boiled eggs optional as garnish

Dressing

  • 2 cups Hellmans Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. First Layer: chop lettuce and place in the bottom of trifle bowl. If you don't have a trifle bowl you can also use a 9x13 oblong glass baking dish.

  2. Second Layer: top with diced green pepper.

  3. Third Layer: add diced red onion.

  4. Forth Layer: layer tomato halves neatly on top next.

  5. Fifth Layer: add frozen peas making an even layer.

  6. Sixth Layer: prepare dressing. Mix mayonnaise and sugar together until combined. Gently add to top of peas and spread evenly.

  7. Seventh Layer: Top with grated cheese.

  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
