Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large yellow onion diced
  • 3 cloves cloves garlic minced
  • 2 14.5 ounce cans Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes (Garlic)
  • 2 15 ounce cans tomato sauce
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/2 Tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon pepper
  • 2 cups large elbow macaroni uncooked

Instructions

  1. In a large pot on medium heat cook ground beef to medium and add diced onion and minced garlic. Continue cooking until meat has browned completely. Spoon off excess fat.

  2. Add Fire Roasted tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, seasoning, salt, pepper and bay leaves to the beef and onion mixture. Lower heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in uncooked pasta.

  3. Decrease heat once again to low and simmer for 30 minutes or until pasta is tender stirring occasionally.
