Elderberry Spice Syrup is a homemade elixir that uses organic ingredients to help boost the immune system to ward off colds and flu-like symptoms.
In a medium saucier pan bring water to boil.
Stir in dried elderberries, cinnamon, cloves and ginger and simmer for 45 minutes.
Remove from heat and let mixture cool to room temperature.
Strain liquid into a glass bowl and discard berries.
Add honey and mix well.
Store your Elderberry Syrup in an airtight glass container or in swing top bottles in the refrigerator for up to two months.
