Add a brilliant colored side dish to your table with this recipe for sweet glazed carrots with herbs. Pairs well with chicken, beef or lamb.
Placed cut carrots in a medium pan and fill pan with water to cover carrots. Bring to a boil and then turn the heat to low and simmer carrots for 8-10 minutes or until carrots are just fork tender. Do not allow carrots to get to soft of the dish will be mushy.
When carrots have reached desired tenderness drain water from carrots in sink using a colander. Toss carrots back into the pan and add butter, brown sugar and herbs and cook over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes stirring occasionally.
