Homemade whipped body butter is a sure way to condition your skin by using products that aid in protecting, conditioning and moisturizing dry or rough skin. Makes around 2 - 3 cups.
In a small sauce pan or double boiler combine shea butter and cocoa butter. Gently stir over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat.
Add coconut oil and almond oil and stir to combine.
Place in a large cup (glass or paper) and place in the refrigerator until mixture sets up. This may take a few hours.
Once mixture is set remove from refrigerator and place contents in a mixing bowl. I use the stand mixer. Whip until butter starts to fluff.
Optional: add essential oil drops and continue whipping until stiff peaks have formed. Spoon into a jar with a lid.
