Here’s a recipe for a simple and easy chimichurri sauce that will make your tastebuds ask for more with every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup parsley finely chopped (flat leaf or Italian)
  • 4 cloves garlic minced (find the best garlic mincer here)
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon  Maldon Salt or coarse salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper  (LOVE this peppermill)

Instructions

  1. Add Liquid Ingredients

    In a medium bowl add olive oil and red wine vinegar.

  2. Add Herbs & Spices

    Add chopped parsley, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, dried oregano, Maldon salt and freshly ground pepper to liquid ingredients. Stir all ingredients together and allow to meld for up to 2-hours prior to using.

    Apply chimichurri sauce on meats during grilling and/or serve as a side condiment.
