A super easy meatloaf recipe involves placing all ingredients in a bowl, mix thoroughly until well combined and bake.
Combine Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix by hand until thoroughly combined.
Shape mixture evenly into a 9×5 loaf pan. For years I have used a stone loaf pan for making meatloaf.
Bake
Bake for 1 hour in preheated oven or until center of loaf temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. If the meatloaf gets too hot it will tend to be dry. The best way for checking the temperature is by using an instant read thermometer. Just poke the thermometer into the middle of the meatloaf about halfway down into the center to get a true reading.
Add Topping
Once the meat has reached temperature remove from oven.
If desired apply a layer of ketchup to the top of the meatloaf and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
Remove loaf pan from oven and allow to rest for 15 minutes prior to cutting. By doing so this will allow the juices to redistribute evenly.
Slice to desired thickness and enjoy!
