Antipasto Skewers make the perfect appetizer for any occasion. It’s like a charcuterie board of goodies but only on a skewer.
Looking for that easy appetizer? There is no cooking or baking involved with these antipasto skewers. Ingredients are simply store bought and super easy to put together. Matter of fact, just slide ingredients onto a skewer stick and viola! This will be one of the easiest appetizers you’ll ever make.
How to Serve Antipasto Skewers
Anyway you serve these skewers will be impressive. Stack them on top of each other on a platter making sure the top of the skewer is easy to access. Or if you want to make a Charcuterie Antipasto Skewer Wreath I use this Marble Lazy Susan that makes an excellent presentation when serving. Making a wreath style presentation the skewers can be staggered with the end of the skewers toward the center of the tray and the top of the skewer facing on the outside and visa versa. Yes, mix and match the direction of the skewers makes an even better presentation.
Antipasto Skewers Recipe
For this recipe I usually make only 40 skewers but can make more than that. I usually have ingredients left over that I use for salads or just for snacking. Most of these ingredients can be found at your local grocer or even Walmart. I’ve included links below so you can see what you’re looking for.

- 1 jar sweet cherry peppers – cut in half
- 2 packages of Fresh basil leaves (I used 1/2 leaf for each skewer)
- 4 ounce Applegate, Organic Uncured Genoa Salami (I use 1 piece per skewer. If you want more then get 2 packages)
- 6-inch bamboo skewers
Instructions
Prepare Ingredients
Remove lid of artichokes and drain liquid from can. Open snacking cheese container and set aside. Remove olives, pepperoncini and cherry peppers from container shaking off excess juices and place each in separate bowls. Cut basil leaves in half and set aside. Open package of salami and set aside.
Build Antipasto Skewers
There is no certain way to putting these skewers together. Just start stringing ingredients onto the skewers. Not all ingredients need to be placed on each skewer. Mix and match ingredients to make each skewer different. Skewers can be prepare a day before and stored in plastic gallon zip lock baggies. 20 skewers per gallon baggie. And then just arrange on serving tray or Marble Lazy Susan and enjoy!
