Jello and Cola

The amazing thing about this jello salad recipe is how flexible it can be with the flavored ingredients. That’s right, I’m talking about the jello and cola.

Gelatin Flavors Mix or Match

One of the flavored ingredients that can be so flexible when making this jello salad is the jello gelatin. Make this salad with ingredients you like or may even have on hand.

Whatever flavors you choose to use when making this Jell-O salad use at least one package of cherry or black cherry. See recommended flavor options below.

  • Cherry
  • Black Cherry
  • Strawberry
  • Lime
  • Raspberry
  • Lemon

Cola Flavors To Choose

Another flavor that can be flexible with this jello salad recipe is the cola. Below are a few choices that could always be options when making this recipe.

I have personally used Cocoa-Cola and Limited Edition Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry (only available during the fall holidays) because that is what I had on hand at the time. I don’t see any reason why any of the below cola’s wouldn’t work.

The gelatin salad is ready when it’s all firm and set.

I recommend removing the jello salad from the bowl and transferring to a serving bowl because no one wants to be the first to disturb such a beautiful salad.

Plus, it really looks better being all mixed up.

Serve jello salad chilled and maybe top with whipping cream but that is totally optional. Enjoy!
