The Perfect Lasagna Recipe For Two:

Cooking for two can sometimes be a challenge especially when it comes to making lasagna. This is the perfect lasagna recipe for two and you don’t have to boil the noodles.

Ingredients:

  • 9×5 pan (meatloaf pan)
  • 24 oz Pasta Sauce of your choice
  • 4 sheets of Oven-Ready Lasagna (No Boiling Required)
  • 4 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 8 oz Ricotta Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 2 links of Italian Sausage
  • Foil
  • Garlic bread (optional)

Directions:

Preheat Oven to 375° F.

In a large skillet brown ground beef and Italian sausage links.

Combine 2 cups Mozzarella, Ricotta and Parmesan cheese into one bowl and mix well.

Gather your ingredients:

  • Place browned ground beef into a bowl.
  • Slice Italian sausage and place into a bowl.
  • Place Mozzarella cheese into a bowl.
  • Pour pasta sauce into a bowl.
  • Ricotta cheese mixture.
  • Lasagna sheets.

Building The Lasagna:

Pour 1/2 cup pasta sauce on bottom of pan and spread evenly.

Add 1 sheet of pasta on top of the sauce.

Place enough pasta sauce on top to cover pasta sheet.

Generously sprinkle with Ricotta mixture on top of the pasta.

Add enough ground beef and Italian sausage to layer of pasta.

Sprinkle with Mozzarella.

Pour a little sauce over top of all ingredients.

Place a new sheet of lasagna on top.

Gently press down to set.

Repeat steps 2-9 for two more layers.

For the final layer, top with the fourth pasta sheet.

Pour the remaining pasta sauce and ricotta mixture on top.

Tent with foil.

Bake for 25 minutes.

Remove foil and add remaining mozzarella cheese and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese browns.

Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes before cutting.
