Take a simple margarita mix and turn it into a more flavorful and delicious strawberry lime margarita with just a few added ingredients.

A typical margarita contains alcohol but this recipe is alcohol-free, and that’s the way we prefer making our margaritas. Another way of serving margarita’s is on the rocks but we prefer ours blended. Having a blended margarita is one of my favorite memories of spending time at the beach. Sitting on the beach in the hot sun with my toes in the sand sipping on a nice ice cold blended beverage. Oh yeah!

Since I don’t live near the beach I have to make due. So my Cabana boy, my husband, created this wonderful strawberry lime margarita just for me and I love it! I’d really like to get a margarita machine like this then I could have frozen margaritas or any other type of frozen beverage anytime!

True story: We were heading down to the our lake house one hot summer day and decided a margarita sounded refreshing. Who wouldn’t want a nice cool beverage on a hot summer day? Not just a margarita but an ice cold blended margarita! Unfortunately at that time we didn’t have a blender at the lake house. So, we stopped at our local Wally-World out in the country. I stayed in the vehicle with the dogs while my husband went for a quick shopping spree. He came out with all the ingredients to make the perfect margarita and a blender that I would have never bought. But let me tell you, that blender ended up making the best blended margaritas ever! Not everything has to be super expensive! Check out my lake house blender here.
