The Perfect Sized Sweet Treat

Chocolate Pretzels

Add these little cuties to your holiday baking. We have been making these chocolate pretzel treats for three years. They are a big hit! Not only are they good but you can make close to 150 pieces in about 30 minutes. How can you not make them now!

Ingredients/Supplies:

  • Pretzel O’s
  • 1 or 2 pounds of Vanilla Flavored Candy (CANDIQUICK Melt & Make Microwaveable Tray) depending on how many you want to make.
  • Peanut Chocolate Candies (we bought the 3 pounds of chocolate covered peanut M&M’s)
  • Waxed paper
  • Spoon (we just used a little plastic spoon)

These are the ingredients we used.

One candy tray will make around 150 pretzels treats.

Directions:

  1. Place a large piece of wax paper on cookie sheet.
  2. Lay Pretzel O’s in a single layer on the entire top of wax paper.
  3. Melt CANDIQUIK in microwave according to manufacture instructions until melted. One tray will fix  around 130 – 150 pieces.
  4. Working with about 10 pretzels at a time fill in the center of the pretzel with the melted candy coating. After you have 10 centers filled gently press a peanut chocolate candy in the center of the pretzel. Repeat the process until chocolate candy is gone. If at any time your candy coating starts to harden follow the directions for reheating per manufactures instructions.
  5. Allow to completely cool before removing from wax paper.
  6. Enjoy for yourself and share some with your friends!

NOTE: You could easily use 3-4 CANDIQUICK to make the entire jar of pretzels.
