Seasoned oyster crackers are a perfect little snack to have around the house especially during the holidays. This recipe includes Ranch seasoned oil, lemon pepper, onion and garlic powder and topped off with a cheesy jalapeno seasoning.
Even though this is recipe if for a Cheesy Jalapeno Ranch seasoned oyster crackers there are 11 other flavors that could potentially be used when making this recipe. Serve multiple flavors by dividing the Ranch seasoned crackers after baking and sprinkle with your favorite flavor. I was inspired to make these spicy crackers from the Wicked Minis brand and feel very confident that if you decide to make this recipe you will be very pleased! Cheesy Jalapeno Ranch Seasoned Oyster Crackers Recipe
Ingredients
- 9 ounce package Premium Oyster Crackers
- 1 1-0unce package Hidden Valley The Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Cheesy Jalapeno Popcorn Seasoning (sprinkle to taste)
- 1/8 teaspoon Jalapeno Powder for a spicier kick (optional) (sprinkle to taste)
Instructions
Combine Ingredients
Preheat oven 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine dressing seasoning mix and oil. Add lemon pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and stir to mix together.
Season Crackers and Bake
Place oyster crackers in a sealable plastic gallon baggie. Pour mixture over crackers. Seal baggie and toss making sure all crackers are coated. Pour coated crackers from baggie onto a baking sheet and bake in oven for 30 minutes.
Add Cheesy and Spicy Flavors
Remove oyster crackers from oven and sprinkle Cheesy Jalapeno powder on top of all crackers and toss. For a more intense jalapeno flavor lightly sprinkle crackers with jalapeno powder. Serve and enjoy!
