Homemade Holiday Cranberry Sauce

Add A Touch Of Beauty To Your Table
Spice up your table with this Holiday Cranberry Sauce recipe.

Ingredients:
- 1 (12 ounce) bag of fresh cranberries
- 4 whole cloves
- 2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
- 4 allspice berries
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cups water
- Grated zest from 1 orange
Instructions:
- Add cranberries to a colander and rinse. Remove any berries that do not look fresh.
- Place cloves, cinnamon stick and allspice berries in a spice bag.
- In a medium sauce pan add water, sugar and spice bag and stir until syrup is clear. Bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries and cook. Berries will begin popping. Cook for about 5 minutes.
- Remove pan from heat. Discard spice bag. Use microplane to grate orange zest. Add to mixture and cool.
- Refrigerate 1 to 3 days before serving.
- Enjoy!
