Meet Jett

Hello!

My name is Georgette aka “Jett”.  I am beyond thrilled that you are here! I am the cook, food photographer and blogger behind “Jett’s Kitchen”.

A quick background: I am a Kansas girl who has grown up in the USA. Cooking is my passion. My family’s favorite meals consist of meat and potatoes, vegetarian and vegan. Oh yeah, you can also find me cooking something special for our four-legged fur babies and our feathered flock. Yes, we have seven laying hens. Let’s just say I will never buy store-bought eggs again unless my ladies are not producing.

I like to make cooking fun and avoid being complicated and expensive. You will be amazed at some of the recipes I share.   For example, I have made homemade marshmallows that were a big hit and kid approved! A friend of mine was so surprised that I would even tackle such a recipe and stated, “You know you can get them in a bag?”.  We laughed. Yeah, I know…but…there is just something magical and satisfying about homemade recipes. Plus, you know and can pronounce every ingredient you put into it!  The most rewarding experience I encounter when making homemade meals is when my family asks for seconds! Which they do very often.
