Cacao Nibs Creamy Icing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 Tablespoon Cacao Nibs
  • Sugar to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan bring the cream and cacao to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the cream into a bowl, pressing to extract all the liquid. Discard the nibs.
  4. Add desired amount of sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
  5. Chill the cream in the refrigerator until completely cool (about 6 hours).
  6. Remove from refrigerator and whip the cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
