Ditch all that sugary cookie crust and make a slightly sweetened almond crust magic bar. Crust ingredients include almond flour, some sugar, and butter. Topping ingredients include unsweetened flaked coconut, chopped pecans, milk chocolate morsels and sweetened condensed milk. Bake and have yourself the perfect sweetness magic bar!

Sometimes magic bars can be way too sweet only because they are usually made with a graham cracker crust, semi-sweet chocolate morsels, butterscotch morsels and sweetened flaked coconut. All that combination ends up being way too sweet. At least it is for me and my crew.

With that said, I decided to decrease the sweetness by using almond flour slightly sweetened with a bit of sugar. Instead of using semi-sweet chocolate morsels I use milk chocolate morsels. And since the milk chocolate morsels and sweetened condensed milk add enough sweetness I decided to go with unsweetened coconut flakes. This turned out to be the perfect recipe for my family and one of their favorites. I hope it turns out to be your family’s favorite too!
