What is Rice Vermicelli Noodles?

Rice vermicelli noodles are an Asian noodle made from rice flour. Uncooked noodles are extremely thin and brittle. When compared to angel hair pasta the vermicelli noodles are way much thinner. And the cook time when making vermicelli noodles is only about two minutes.

How do you serve Rice Vermicelli Noodles?

Rice vermicelli noodles are often found in stir-fry recipes, Asian soups, spring rolls and salads. Rice vermicelli noodles, when cooked and seasoned properly, can also be served as a side dish. Here’s a suggestion: when serving Korean BBQ Short Ribs, also known as Kalbi, place the meat on a bed of cooked rice vermicelli noodles. Yum Yum!
