What Can Be Eaten During Lenten Season? During lent it is not acceptable to eat lamb, chicken, beef, pork, ham, deer and most other meats on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and all Friday’s. However, milk, eggs, fish, grains, fruits and vegetables are all allowed.
