Make these wonderful ACV Pomegranate gummies with only four ingredients: 100% apple juice, 100% pomegranate juice, apple cider vinegar with the mother and gelatin powder for thickening.
If spending your hard earned money on buying ACV Gummies is digging deep into your pocket then this is the recipe you need to try. Yes, you can make ACV gummies at home with a couple juices, apple cider vinegar and gelatin powder.
What type of gelatin powder is used for making gummies?
Choose a gelatin powder that works best for you and your preference. There are three types to choose from.
- Agar Agar is a plant-based thickening agent derived from seaweed. I have used Agar Agar in the past but not for this recipe. From what I understand 1 Tablespoon of the Agar Agar powder is equivalent to 6 to 8 Tablespoons of Gelatin powder.
- Knox unflavored gelatine powder is what I used for this recipe just because that is what I had on hand. Knox gelatine is usually found at your local grocer. Buying a 1 ounce box of Knox is really convenient. No measuring required.
- Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised, and Non-GMO Gelatin is another option. Vital Protein Gelatin is Paleo friendly and Whole30 approved.
What are the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar “ACV”?
There are many beliefs that ACV with the mother, and it has to be with the mother, when consumed in small amounts, can be a cure all. Although apple cider vinegar can be used in cooking, baking or for making salad dressings it also has a long history of being used as a home remedy. Below is a short listing of benefits to using apple cider vinegar with the mother but I highly recommend getting the Bragg’s Book for a listing of wide variety uses for apple cider vinegar. You’ll be amazed at everything this miracle liquid can do. Below are just a few benefits to using apple cider vinegar that may spark your interest:
- Revitalize your hair by using as a hair rinse.
- May aid as a weight reducer.
- Headache reliever.
- ACV can be used as a skin treatment
Apple cider vinegar is very acidic and should not be consumed by itself as it may cause problems like erode the enamel of your teeth. Matter of fact, if trying ACV for the first time, it actually tastes horrible alone. When apple cider vinegar is properly added to recipes you will be quite surprised. It’s not so bad tasting after all! Be sure to check the end of this recipe for other ideas of recipes using ACV by Jett’s Kitchen. Anyway, let’s get to this Pomegranate Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies Recipe!
Pomegranate Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies Recipe
You can make gummies using 2 sets of these silicone molds or just a regular cake pan. When I made this recipe I used 4 chocolate molds and then put the remainder of the liquid into a small baking dish and then just made cut-outs.
Ingredients
- 1 cup apple juice with no added sugar
- 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar with the mother
- 1 ounce Knox gelatin unflavored (that is 1 box which contains 4 individual packets)
Instructions
Mix ingredients
Place pomegranate juice in a small sauce pan and heat up on stove just prior to boiling. Remove from heat and add apple juice, unflavored gelatin and apple cider vinegar and stir until gelatin has dissolved.
Pour and Chill
Pour mixture into silicone molds or a 9×13 pan and refrigerate until set (at least 2-hours if not overnight when using molds).
Remove from molds or cut
Once the gummies have set up gently release them one by one from the silicone mold and or cut gummies into bite size pieces. Place gummies in a tight fitting container and store in the refrigerator. If left at room temperature they may just melt. I believe it is safe to eat up to 4 gummies per day any more than that please check with your physician

Sue
I bought pomegranate powder and beet root powder to make the apple cider vinegar gummies with. Maybe that was a waste of money, now that I see your recipes. I didn’t realize apple juice went into them too. So much sugar. I love just plain a bit gummies so maybe I wouldn’t miss any sweetness. What do you think? Thank you, Sue
Jett
Hi Sue, I suppose if apple juice is too much sugar then maybe use half apple juice and half water. Hope this helps.
